Cellist Mosa Tsay is currently the newly appointed director of the Groupmuse Foundation, which provides musicians the technology, tools, and training to cultivate online audiences.

Mosa recently returned from Paris as the recipient of the 2019-20 Fulbright and Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship. In Paris, Mosa studied with Anssi Karttunen, focusing on contemporary works for cello by Betsy Jolas, Kaija Saariaho, and Pascal Dusapin. In New York, she performs with Wavefield Ensemble and has been a frequent collaborator with International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE).

Mosa is a graduate of The Juilliard School and UC Berkeley (Music ’14, Society and Environment, ’14). She credits her love of mushrooms to a funghi class at Cal and love of new music to Professor Milnes and UCBSO.
